While located close to the heart of the city, Garden Heights is far from the irritants of a city life. Given the quiet and the peace within the complex, it is difficult to imagine that the business centres, market places and the railway station are within a 3 km radius of the complex. The complex is centrally located and is in close proximity to the Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib.

The famous Patiala Institute of Sports and other educational institutions such as the Punjabi University, the Thapar Institute of Engineering and the Ayurvedic College of Medicine are all in Garden Heights’ neighbourhood. The Rajindra hospital, also close to the complex, is amongst the largest health institutions in the region and the best medical college in Punjab.
